Spokesperson reiterates policy on President’s upcoming engagements

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) The spokesperson to President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday reiterating the official policy on queries regarding the President’s upcoming visits, meetings, or engagements, said that the relevant details are provided only after they are concluded.

"As a matter of policy, we do not comment, provide any details, authenticate or reject any upcoming visit, meeting or engagement of the President," spokesperson Murtaza Solangi said in a statement.

He said that when such activity is finalised, the presidency lets the relevant agency, like the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, issue a curtain raiser about it.

"We, however, provide details about any such engagement after it has been concluded at an appropriate time and requisite information vehicle," the spokesperson added.
