Special secretary LG inspects development projects in Bhera,Bhalwal

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2026) Special Secretary Local Government and Project Director Punjab Development Program(PDP) Shahid Zaman Lak, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Husain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on Sunday visited tehsils Bhera and Bhalwal to inspect ongoing development schemes.

During the visit,the officials were briefed on the progress of various projects, with a particular focus on drainage and rainwater disposal schemes in the area.

Assistant Commissioners,the Assistant Director PDP and other concerned officials provided updates on timelines and work pace.

Shahid Zaman Lak directed that all development projects be completed within the stipulated timeframe,stressing that no compromise should be made on construction quality.

He said that in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister(CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif,transparency,quality and timely completion of public welfare projects must be ensured at all costs.

Deputy Commissioner(DC),Husain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry instructed officials and contractors to expedite work by deploying additional machinery and manpower where necessary to facilitate the public.

He said the provincial government was taking practical steps for the resolution of public issues on a sustainable basis, adding that regular monitoring of development projects would continue to ensure the effective utilization of public funds.
