Special cleanliness arrangements finalized in parks for Eid prayers: Commissioner

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen Monday said that special cleanliness and beautification arrangements had been finalized in parks across Faisalabad for Eid-ul-Azha congregations.

She visited various parks in the city to review arrangements for Eid prayers and public facilities.

Managing Director (MD) Horticulture Authority Dilawar Khan briefed the divisional commissioner about ongoing preparations, cleanliness measures and beautification work being carried out in parks ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

During visit, she directed the authorities concerned to complete all remaining cleanliness, maintenance and painting work on an urgent basis so that worshippers could experience a clean and pleasant environment during Eid prayers.

She emphasized that parks designated for Eid congregations should reflect high standards of sanitation and civic management in accordance with the directives of the Punjab government.

She also ordered special arrangements to protect citizens from heat and harsh weather conditions, including provision of shaded areas for worshippers and availability of clean drinking water at prayer venues.

The divisional commissioner also assigned the task of decorating parks with recreational facilities during Eid holidays so that families and children visiting public parks could enjoy a healthy and pleasant environment.

All departments concerned should remain active in the field to ensure effective implementation of arrangements and facilitate citizens during the Eid holidays, she added.
