Six shops sealed over encroachment

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) The Municipal Corporation on Friday sealed six shops during an operation against encroachments in the district.

A spokesperson said the action was carried out on the directives of Commissioner Hafiz Shoukat Ali.

Municipal Officer (Regulation) Zoya Baloch along with the anti-encroachment team,inspected several markets, including Fasil Bazar and urdu Bazar.

During the visit,the team found shopkeepers placing building materials on public roads,causing obstruction.

Six shops were sealed over violations,and fines amounting to Rs130,000 were imposed on 26 shopkeepers,the spokesperson added.
