Indian actress Sanchita Ogale dies by suicide in Palghar

Kumkum Bhagya actress Sanchita Ogale, 22, was found dead in an apparent suicide at her residence, police said.

PALGHAR: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-June-16,2026) Indian actress Sanchita Ogale, known for her role in the popular tv drama Kumkum Bhagya, has reportedly died by suicide at the age of 22.

According to Indian media reports, the actress allegedly took her own life at her residence in Palghar district of Maharashtra. She was found hanging from a ceiling fan.

Police reached the scene shortly after being informed. Officials stated that no suspicious items or suicide note were recovered from the location.

Authorities further said that the actress’s father has not raised any suspicion against anyone nor held anyone responsible for her death. The body has been shifted to a hospital for post-mortem examination.

It is also reported that Sanchita Ogale shared her final social media post just hours before her death, in which she can be seen singing the popular song “Dafli Wale.”

Following the news of her passing, fans have expressed deep grief and condolences across social media platforms.
