KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jun, 2026) Sindh government set an ambitious tax and non tax revenue target of over Rs 775 billion for FY 2026-27 with projected collection of Rs 690 billion of different provincial taxes and Rs 85 billion from other non-tax revenues.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, in his budget speech on Wednesday, informed that the budget estimates for Sindh Sales Tax are Rs 450 billion, and for the board of Revenue and Excise components Rs 234.060 billion including the stamp duty collections of Rs 32 billion, while settlement recoveries under the Infrastructure Cess Amendment Act, 2026 are projected at Rs 25 billion.
He said that the government has succeeded in collecting Rs 532.3 billion in tax revenues in 11 months and is expected to achieve Rs 625 billion during the current fiscal year 2025-26 depicting 6% growth as compared to Rs 505.

He also highlighted the upward trends in Non-tax revenues, which are projected to reach Rs 86.5 billion with a 50% increase over the last year’s collection of Rs 40.3 billion.
The Sindh Revenue Board has achieved 22% growth by collecting Rs 300 billion during the 11 months of FY25-26, he said, adding that the collection is expected to increase to Rs 360 billion by the end of CFY.
“Accordingly, we have set an ambitious tax revenue target of Rs. 775.060 billion for FY 2026-27, including Rs. 450 billion from Sindh Sales Tax on Services, and Rs. 240.06 billion under Excise and Taxation levies, and the Board of Revenue, Agriculture Income Tax and others,” he stated.
