Sindh govt declares June 25, 26 as public holiday on Ashura

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jun, 2026) The Government of Sindh has declared June 25 and 26, as Public Holidays throughout the Province of Sindh, on the occasion of Ashura (09th & 10th Muharram-ul-Haram 1448 A.H).

According to a notification on Monday, the public holiday has been announced for all offices, Autonomous Bodies, Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under the Administrative Control of Government of Sindh, except essential services.
