Security Forces Win Fresh Gains in Balochistan Operation Shaban, Says Interior Minister

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2026) Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday praised Pakistan's security forces for achieving further successes during the ongoing Operation Shaban in Balochistan, commending the coordinated efforts of the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and police.

In a statement, Naqvi described the joint operation as a demonstration of effective coordination and professionalism, saying the forces had secured "remarkable achievements" in their campaign against militants.

He said the nation highly appreciated the security forces' decisive actions against what he referred to as the "Fitna al-Hindustan" terrorist group, adding that their operations had thwarted the militants' "nefarious designs."

According to the interior minister, security forces killed four more militants during timely and effective operations, calling the development another significant step in the ongoing counterterrorism campaign.

Naqvi reaffirmed the government's resolve to continue joint operations until all terrorists had been eliminated, emphasizing that the campaign would persist without interruption.
