Search operations against illegally residing foreign Afghan refugees continues in Qamber Shahdadkot

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Mar, 2026) A search operation was conducted against illegal Afghan refugees in District Qambar Shahdadkot on Sunday. On the special instructions of SSP Qambar Shahdadkot, Hassan Sardar Ahmed Khan Niazi, a search operation is underway across the district to locate and identify Afghan refugees residing illegally. This operation is being carried out with the assistance of a technical team, utilizing search application devices.

During the search operation, the process of searching is ongoing at various locations in the main cities of the district, including shops, hotels, bus terminals, residential areas, and other public places. Meanwhile, biometric verification of suspicious individuals is also being conducted through the online verification system, and national identity cards are being checked as well.

In this regard, SSP Qambar Shahdadkot, Hassan Sardar Ahmed Khan Niazi, stated that in light of the recent Pak-Afghan border tensions, security agencies are on high alert and will not tolerate any kind of illegal stay or suspicious movement. The SSP further said that strict action will be taken against those elements who come from foreign soil and attempt to disrupt the peace and order of the country.

Given the current national circumstances, the public is urged to fully cooperate with the police and law enforcement agencies and immediately report any suspicious activity or individual to the relevant police station or police control.
