SCCI delegation meets DC

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) A delegation of the business community led by Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, President of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), visited the DC Office and held a meeting with Saba Asghar Ali.

During the meeting, the delegation expressed sincere appreciation for the facilitation provided in the issuance of Free Sale Certificates (FSCs) for surgical instrument exports. They highlighted that the streamlined process has significantly supported exporters by reducing delays and improving efficiency in international trade operations.

The delegation said that such measures have strengthened the confidence of the business community and contributed positively to the growth of exports from Sialkot, particularly in the surgical instruments sector, which is a key contributor to Pakistan’s export economy.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation in addressing challenges faced by exporters and ensuring a business-friendly environment in the region.
