ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jun, 2026) Pakistan's Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the Registrar Office to fix for hearing the appeals of two death-row convicts, Qaisar Ayub and Amoon Ali, in a blasphemy case before a three-member bench.
The direction was issued during proceedings held in Courtroom No. 1 of the Supreme Court.

Qaisar Ayub and Amoon Ali have challenged their death sentences awarded in the blasphemy case before the Supreme Court.
The case against the two appellants was registered in 2011 in Talagang district, following allegations of blasphemy. They were subsequently convicted and sentenced to death by the trial court.
The appeals are now scheduled to be heard by a three-member bench of the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
