Saudi ministry distributes over 194,000 Hajj guidance books at Taif airport, Miqat points

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has distributed more than 194,000 religious books and awareness publications related to Hajj rituals among pilgrims through Taif International Airport and major Miqat points during the Hajj 1447 AH season.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the awareness campaign was carried out by the ministry’s Makkah Region branch and the Department of Mosques, Dawah and Guidance in Taif between the 9th of Dhul-Qadah and the 6th of Dhul-Hijjah.

The report said 45,405 publications were distributed through Taif International Airport, while 149,275 copies were provided to pilgrims at Miqat Qarn Al-Manazil and Miqat Wadi Muharram.

Authorities said the initiative aims to improve religious awareness among pilgrims from the moment they arrive in the Kingdom for Hajj.

SPA told APP that the distributed publications included books and guidance materials such as Hisn Al-Muslim, Al-Tahqiq wal-Idah, supplications from the Quran and Sunnah, simplified Hajj and Umrah guides, and pilgrim guidance manuals.

The report said the materials were published in multiple languages including Arabic, urdu, Pashto, English, Indonesian, Turkish and Russian to meet the needs of pilgrims from different countries and backgrounds.

Officials added that the multilingual awareness campaign forms part of broader efforts to guide pilgrims and help them perform Hajj rituals correctly and smoothly.
