Gold price in Pakistan drops by Rs2,400 per tola amid global market decline

KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-May 26^th, 2026) The gold prices in Pakistan on Tuesday witnessed a decline of Rs2,400 per tola, in line with a downturn in international bullion markets.

All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association said that the price of gold per tola in the local market fell by Rs2,400, bringing it down to Rs475,362.

The association added that the price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs2,057, settling at Rs475,546.

In the global market, gold prices dropped by $24 per ounce, with the rate moving down to $4,530 per ounce.

The market analysts said the decline in international gold rates directly influenced domestic prices in Pakistan, resulting in a downward adjustment in local bullion rates.
