Sargodha clinches top position in Punjab revenue performance rankings

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) Sargodha district has secured the top position across Punjab in the board of Revenue’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for March,marking a sharp improvement from its 21st position in February.

According to officials, the achievement reflects improved administrative performance, coordinated field operations, and effective monitoring of revenue recovery targets under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry.

Talking to media on Monday,Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Ahmed Haroon said the achievement was the result of “teamwork, effective coordination, and a clear strategy” implemented under the DC’s supervision.

He added that all revenue officers and field staff worked diligently to ensure timely recovery of government dues and achievement of assigned targets.

He further said that consistent follow-up, adherence to provincial government guidelines, and close monitoring of field operations played a key role in improving performance indicators.

The ADCR also appreciated taxpayers and the local public for their cooperation in meeting financial obligations, stating that their support would help accelerate development and public welfare initiatives in the district.

Reaffirming the administration’s commitment, he said all available resources would be utilized to maintain the top position, warning that no negligence in achieving revenue targets would be tolerated.
