Salma visits Ramazan Sahulat Bazaar, Nigahban Card Centers

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2026) Special Assistant to CM Punjab Salma Butt Friday visited the city to review the arrangements made for Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.

She went to the Ramazan Sahulat Bazar, Nigaheban Card Centers and the Control Room set up in the office of the Deputy Commissioner. Deputy Commissioner Cap (Retd) Nadeem Nasir briefed about the ongoing measures taken to provide relief to the consumers during the holy month of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.

Special Assistant Salma Butt also met with the representatives of grain and vegetable markets and discussed the availability and prices of essential commodities.

She checked the quality and prices at fruit, vegetable, grocery and chicken stalls at Sahulat Bazaar Jhang Road.

She also inquired from the buyers about the prices and quality of food items and said that all the administrative machinery is working to control the prices of goods in the general market as well.

She made a detailed review of the payment process at the Nigehban Card Center and spoke to the citizens present at the center about the facilities, guidance and payment system.

She said that provision of financial support to deserving families in a respectful way is the priority of the government and artificial inflation and hoarding will not be tolerated.
