DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2026) Rescue 1122 Dera Ismail Khan remained on high alert on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr, deploying special emergency arrangements to ensure public safety and timely response to any untoward incidents.
According to Rescue official, the arrangements were made on the directives of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shah Fahad, and Director Operations South, Arif Khattak, under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Muhammad Arif Khan.
Rescue teams, equipped with ambulances and firefighting vehicles, were stationed at key locations across the city. Trained medical and firefighting staff remained on standby throughout the day to respond swiftly to any emergency situation.
The Rescue 1122 personnel were deployed at various points to facilitate citizens and ensure a prompt emergency response during Eid celebrations.
Meanwhile, the on-call duty officer Muhammad Ans conducted a visit to Station 33 to review operational preparedness. During the visit, he inspected staff attendance, emergency equipment, vehicles, and safety arrangements established along the riverbank.
He directed the personnel to remain alert at all times and perform their professional duties with dedication to effectively handle any potential emergency.
Rescue 1122 reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives and property during the festive occasion.
