Rescue 1122 Murree pays tribute to armed forces at “Marka-e-Haq” ceremony

On the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, Rescue 1122 Murree organized a prestigious ceremony to mark the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” paying tribute to the sacrifices, courage and professional excellence of the Pakistan Armed Forces

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) On the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, Rescue 1122 Murree organized a prestigious ceremony to mark the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” paying tribute to the sacrifices, courage and professional excellence of the Pakistan Armed Forces.

The ceremony was held at the central station of Rescue 1122 Murree under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Kamran Rashid.

Professors, doctors and students from University of the Punjab, along with rescue officials, volunteers and a large number of citizens, attended the ceremony and praised the armed forces for their sacrifices in defending the country and maintaining peace.

Addressing the gathering, Engineer Kamran Rashid said Pakistan is a strong, sovereign and nuclear power, while the Pakistan Armed Forces are among the best forces in the world and fully capable of responding to any aggression or conspiracy by the enemy.

He said, adding that the Pakistani people have always stood firmly alongside their army during difficult times.

The participants were also briefed on the operational arrangements, emergency response system and modern rescue equipment of Rescue 1122 Murree for dealing with emergencies. Attendees visited emergency resource stalls, the control room, fire and rescue equipment displays, and observed mock drills, appreciating the professional services of Rescue 1122 personnel.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, rescuers, teachers, students and citizens participated in a solidarity rally in support of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Participants carried national flags and banners while chanting slogans of “Long Live Pakistan Army” and “Pakistan Zindabad.” Special prayers were also offered for the country’s security, stability, prosperity and the success of the armed forces.
