A two-day Tetrathlon exercise has formally began at the Emergency Services Academy Lahore to enhance the professional capabilities and physical fitness of rescuers
LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) A two-day Tetrathlon exercise has formally began at the Emergency Services academy Lahore to enhance the professional capabilities and physical fitness of rescuers.
According to Rescue 1122 spokesman the exercise aims to further improve the operational skills and endurance of Rescue 1122 personnel.
The spokesman said the activity will continue till April 29, adding that various practical skills are being evaluated during the exercise, including swimming, ascending and descending heights, and firefighting techniques. Teams selected from all divisions across Punjab are participating in the exercise, providing a competitive platform to test their preparedness and performance.
The spokesman further said that teams demonstrating outstanding performance will be awarded honours at the conclusion of the exercise.
