Rescue 1122 Chiniot issues special Eid emergency plan across district

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Rescue 1122 in Chiniot has finalized a comprehensive emergency response plan for Eid-ul-Adha 2026, with rescue personnel directed to remain on high alert to handle any untoward situation during the holidays.

The special duty plan was issued on Monday by District Emergency Officer Tahira Khan on the instructions of Secretary Emergency Services Department Dr. Rizwan Naseer. Rescue officers and emergency staff were instructed to ensure uninterrupted and prompt emergency services for the public throughout the Eid holidays.

According to officials, Rescue 1122 teams will remain operational round-the-clock to respond to road accidents, medical emergencies, fire incidents, drowning cases, and other emergencies.

Rescue personnel will also be deployed at Eidgahs and key worship places across the district during Eid prayers to ensure public safety and immediate assistance if required.

Special rescue posts are also being established along the Chenab River and at public recreational sites to strengthen emergency preparedness. Ambulances, fire and rescue vehicles, along with motorbike rescue services, will remain stationed at important locations for rapid response.

District Emergency Officer Tahira Khan also urged citizens to observe safety precautions during Eid festivities and immediately contact the Rescue 1122 helpline in case of any emergency.
