Religious leaders from Pakistan Sunni Tehreek and Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (Noorani) strongly condemned recent attack and miscalculated aggression from Afghan territory, and reaffirmed full national support for Pakistan Armed Forces

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) Religious leaders from Pakistan Sunni Tehreek and Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (Noorani) strongly condemned recent attack and miscalculated aggression from Afghan territory, and reaffirmed full national support for Pakistan Armed Forces.

Pakistan Sunni Tehreek leaders, including Provincial Chief Organizer Mirza Muhammad Arshad Qadri and District Organizer Allama Saeed Akhtar Qadri, said in a statement that Pakistan’s security, sovereignty and national dignity were non-negotiable and the entire nation stood shoulder-to-shoulder with its defenders.

They said every hostile design would be foiled through unity and cohesion, adding that Pakistan, as a nuclear power, was fully capable of defending itself. They also condemned terrorism attacks by Fitna-al-Khawarij.

They heaped praise on the armed forces for a timely and effective response to enemy provocations.

Meanwhile, JUP (Noorani) Central Joint Secretary Professor Pir Muhammad Shafiq Ullah Siddiqui al-Badri described the Afghan incursion as a violation of international law. He said Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity were non-negotiable and its armed forces remained fully prepared to defend national frontiers. He lauded Pakistan armed forces for thwarting and repulsing the attack.

The religious leaders stressed that Pakistan desired peace but would respond decisively to any aggression. They stressed on national unity and combined resolve of the nation in defending the motherland against all threats.
