RCB lauded for exemplary arrangements during 11th Muharram procession

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jun, 2026) Rawalpindi Cantonment board (RCB) received widespread appreciation from religious leaders and mourners for its comprehensive civic arrangements during the 11th of Muharram procession.

Religious and social figures commended RCB Chief Executive Officer Aamir Rashid, Assistant Commissioner Cantonment Saad ur Rehman, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Nasir Kamal, Public Health Officer Khalil Ullah, Area Supervisors Najeeb Pirzada and Sajid Bhatti, along with the sanitation staff, for their round-the-clock efforts.

They described the arrangements as a reflection of the administration's professionalism, sense of responsibility and commitment to public service.

Meanwhile, the custodian of Dargah Sakhi Syed Shah Pyara Kazmi Al-Mashhadi, Bawa Syed Qasim Ali Shah Kazmi Al-Mashhadi, and Syed Izhar Shah Naqvi also praised the RCB's management, saying the effective sanitation measures, road washing, lime and water sprinkling, and efficient drainage arrangements ensured a clean, safe and peaceful environment for mourners throughout the procession.

They lauded the administration and sanitation workers for their dedicated services in facilitating the observance of Muharram.
