Rana Mashhood arrives US on official visit

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Programme (PMYP) Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan arrived in the United States on Wednesday on an official visit aimed at advancing global partnerships and creating new opportunities for Pakistani youth in education, skills development, employment and international cooperation.

During the visit, he will participate in high-level engagements with government and non-governmental institutions, address the United Nations High-Level Political Forum, and meet overseas Pakistani youth and community representatives to highlight the government's youth empowerment initiatives and explore avenues for collaboration.

Upon his arrival, Rana Mashhood was received by Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad.

The Chairman PMYP is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with youth development institutions and stakeholders to discuss potential partnerships focused on equipping Pakistani youth with the skills, knowledge and opportunities needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
