Rally in Sillanwali marks Bunyan-um-Maroos operation anniversary

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) In connection with operation Bunyamn-um-Marsoos victory one year ago, a rally was taken out from the Assistant Commissioner's Office, Sillanwali, under the leadership of Member Provincial Assembly Rana Munawar Ghaus, here on Friday.

The participants passed through various markets and important places and ended at Government High school No. 1. Assistant Commissioner Sillanwali Akmal Chaudhry, police and administrative officers and representatives of civil society participated in the rally in large numbers. The participants were holding national flags and banners while the atmosphere echoed with the slogans of “Nara-e-Takbir, Allahu Akbar”, “Pakistan Zindabaad” and “Pak Army Painda Baad”.

MPA Rana Munawar Ghaus said in his address that the Pakistan Army victory raised the morale of the nation.

The success was the result of national unity, sacrifices of the Pakistani Army and the determination of people. He said that Pakistan had full capacity to protect its sovereignty, and the entire nation stands by its army.

AC Akmal Chaudhry said that the purpose of the rally was to pay tribute to the national unity, patriotism and the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army. He said that public participation is a proof that the nation stands firmly with its institutions and is ready to make every sacrifice for peace and stability.

At the end of the rally, special prayers were also offered for the security of the country and the nation, the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
