Rally held to mark Labour Day

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) The district administration held a rally here on Friday to mark Labour Day and to reiterate the government's aim of protecting and promoting the rights of labours.

Led by Deputy Commissioner Zain-ul-Abedin Memon the rally began from the DC Office, participated by the government officials and representatives of social organizations.

The participants expressed solidarity with the working class and paid tribute to their contributions.

The DC said workers were the backbone of national development, and protection of their rights remained a top priority of the district administration.

 He warned that strict action would be taken against any instances of bonded labor or exploitation.

Memon further noted that the Labour and Social Welfare Departments were actively working to safeguard workers’ rights and that efforts would be further strengthened.

The rally concluded with a renewed commitment to continue collective efforts for the welfare, protection, and dignity of workers.
