RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) have intensified its nationwide crackdown against drug traffickers, conducted four operations near educational institutions and in different cities, arresting three suppliers and recovered more than 21 kilograms of drugs worth Rs1.7 million.
According to ANF spokesman, during operation near a college in Haripur, authorities arrested drug pusher and seized 1.2 kg of drugs from his possession.
During initial interrogation, the accused allegedly confessed to supplying drugs to students at educational institutions.
In a separate operation at a courier office in Gulberg Town, Karachi, ANF recovered 730 grams of ice concealed in gym equipment packed in a parcel destined for Australia.
Meanwhile, in domestic interdiction operations, ANF seized 19.2 kg of drugs from a vehicle near Haji Shah Bus Terminal in Attock and arrested the supplier.
In another operation near Kak Pul in Islamabad, ANF apprehended a suspect and recovered 400 grams of hashish from his possession.
Cases against the arrested suspects have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997, and further investigation is under way.
