Rally held in Tando Adam to mark Pakistan Day

SANGHAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) A rally was organised by NPCIH Tando Adam on Monday to commemorate Pakistan Day, drawing a large number of workers and citizens who expressed national unity and patriotism.

The rally started from Gulshan Siddiqui Park and concluded at the Tando Adam Press Club. It was led by NPCIH’s provincial vice president Mazhar Chandio and Sanghar district president Gul Bahar Khaskheli.

Addressing the participants, the speakers said that the Pakistan Resolution, presented under the leadership of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah on March 23, 1940, laid the foundation for a separate homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent, which ultimately materialised in the creation of Pakistan on August 14, 1947.

They said the nation would take pride in the sacrifices and struggle of its forefathers. The speakers reaffirmed that the people stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces and would foil any conspiracy against the country.

They further said they would continue to follow the mission of Ameen Shah Rashdi and remain steadfast in all circumstances.

Among those who participated in the rally were Tando Adam chairman Rana Sadaqat, taluka president Arshad Awan, general secretary Sadaqat Qureshi, Feroze Abbasi, Dr Mohan, Ashok Kumar, Jamshed Chandio, Waheed Chandio and others.

At the conclusion of the rally, participants raised slogans in favour of Pakistan and the armed forces.
