Commissioner reviews development projects at Dring Stadium

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jun, 2026) Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia visited Dring Stadium and reviewed the ongoing development projects at the sports facility.

During the visit, the commissioner inspected different sections of the athletics track and the modern swimming pool equipped with advanced facilities.

He reviewed the construction quality of the athletics track and directed the concerned authorities to complete the project at the earliest while ensuring high standards so that citizens could benefit from the facilities as soon as possible.

Divisional Sports Officer Aamir Hameed, Deputy Director Technical Waqas Muhammad Din, Deputy Project Director PMU Kaleem Tariq, District Sports Officer Fawad Anwar and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion.

During the briefing, the commissioner was informed that the operational portion of the swimming pool had been made functional, while the remaining construction work was progressing rapidly.

The commissioner directed that the remaining work be completed at the earliest and that membership of the swimming pool be increased to enable as many citizens to benefit from the modern facilities.
