A dignified seminar titled “Maarka-e-Haq” was organized by the Human Rights Council of Pakistan Twin Cities Islamabad/Rawalpindi in collaboration with Quaid-i-Azam University to highlight national unity and pay tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) A dignified seminar titled “Maarka-e-Haq” was organized by the Human Rights Council of Pakistan Twin Cities Islamabad/Rawalpindi in collaboration with Quaid-i-Azam University to highlight national unity and pay tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Zafar Nawaz Jaspal presided over the seminar, which was attended by a large number of students and members of academic and social circles.
Speaking on the occasion, President Human Rights Council of Pakistan Twin Cities Murad Ali and Advocate Hammad-ul-Hassan Abbasi presented a detailed introduction of the organization and highlighted its objectives, welfare initiatives and social services for public benefit.
They also introduced the council’s team members to the participants and emphasized the importance of collective efforts for the promotion of human rights and social harmony.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>During the seminar, speakers delivered brief but effective remarks on the topic “Maarka-e-Haq” and paid rich tribute to the unmatched sacrifices, bravery and national services of Pakistan’s armed forces for the defence of the country.
Later, a cake-cutting ceremony was also held in connection with “Maarka-e-Haq,” where Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zafar Nawaz Jaspal cut the cake along with the organizers.
Among others, Central Joint Secretary Saadia Mirza, President Mishal Muhammad Ali, President Soch Aurat Twin Cities Farhat Fatima, President Youth Model National Assembly Twin Cities Muhammad Saad, President Quaid-i-Azam University Rashid Jameel and a large number of students attended the ceremony.
The organizers congratulated Murad Ali on the successful arrangement of the seminar and thanked Quaid-i-Azam University for its continued cooperation and encouragement in promoting constructive social and educational activities.
