Punjab links Dastak app with DLIMS to facilitate driving license services

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jun, 2026) The Punjab government has linked the Dastak mobile application with the Driving License Information Management System (DLIMS) to provide driving license services at citizens’ doorsteps, officials said on Sunday.

According to the Punjab Traffic Police,citizens will now be able to access multiple driving license-related services through the Dastak app,eliminating the need to visit licensing offices and improving public convenience.

Officials said applicants can apply for a learner driving license from home,while renewal services have also been made available upon expiry of licenses.

Applications for duplicate licenses in case of loss or damage,as well as international driving licenses for travel abroad,can also be submitted online.

The Punjab Traffic Police said the fee for a learner driving license has been fixed at Rs500 per category, while renewal and duplicate license fees will be charged according to the relevant vehicle category under existing rules.

By downloading the Dastak app from the Play Store,users can access information and services related to motorcycles, cars,jeeps,LTVs and HTVs.
