CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) The Punjab authorities launched a “Green Property Certificate”, an online property verification system aimed at protecting citizens from fraud and simplifying land transactions, the officials sources said on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan presided over a ceremony held here to introduce the initiative.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Muhammad Ahmar Ali, Assistant Commissioner Ashfaq Rasool, Land Records Center In-charge, Muhammad Asif, GIS Manager Bridges Project Luqman Haider, and other revenue officials were also present.
According to the Punjab government, the service is designed to protect the public from fake documents and land disputes while saving both time and costs involved in property verification.
The officials said the initiative was part of broader efforts to digitise land records and improve transparency in property dealings.
