Punjab Assembly to hold special session on ‘Marka-e-Haq, One Nation One Voice’

A special session of the Punjab Assembly (PA) will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM under the agenda titled “Marka-e-Haq, One Nation One Voice”

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) A special session of the Punjab Assembly (PA) will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM under the agenda titled “Marka-e-Haq, One Nation One Voice.”

The session will pay tribute to the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” and Pakistan’s historic achievements, according to a press release issued here on Friday.

The successful diplomacy carried out under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will be appreciated, while the remarkable and historic achievements of the Pakistan Armed Forces under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir will also be honoured.

The special session will highlight the message of national unity, solidarity, and Pakistan’s achievements. Tributes will also be paid to the sacrifices made by the nation and the Pakistan Armed Forces during “Marka-e-Haq,” while gratitude will be expressed for the country’s success and national unity.

The session will be presided over by Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan.
