Punjab announces recruitment for 1,010 PERA Force sergeant posts

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2026) The Punjab government has announced recruitment for 1,010 Grade-7 sergeant posts in the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) Force and invited online applications from eligible male and female candidates across the province.

Applicants must have at least an intermediate qualification and be between 18 and 26 years of age. Officials said no relaxation would be granted in age, educational qualifications or physical standards.

Of the total vacancies, 300 are allocated for Lahore, 150 for Rawalpindi, 90 each for Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Bahawalpur, and 50 each for Sahiwal, Sargodha, Gujrat and Dera Ghazi Khan.

Male candidates must be at least 173 cm tall and complete a one-mile run in seven minutes, while female candidates must be at least 162 cm tall and complete the run in 11 minutes.

Applications can be submitted only through the Punjab Jobs Portal by July 20, 2026. A three-stage scrutiny process will be conducted for recruitment.
