Man electrocuted while cutting tree branches in Kot Addu

MUZAFFARGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2026) An elderly man was electrocuted after coming into contact with an 11kV power line while cutting tree branches near the canal bridge on KAPCO road in Kot Addu late on Saturday.

According to Rescue officials, a 50-year-old man climbed on a tree to cut tree branches and suddenly came into contact with 11kv power line passing from there, resulting in his death on the spot.

Rescue 1122 personnel responded promptly to the scene and, after completing the necessary procedures, handed over the body to the victim's family.
