PU awards PhD degrees to six scholars

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) Punjab University (PU) has awarded PhD degrees to six scholars in various disciplines, here on Saturday.

According to a varsity spokesperson, the scholars who received PhD degrees include Muhammad Uzair son of Bashir Ahmad in Gender Studies, Muhammad Umar Salman son of Muhammad Ali Shakir in Solid State Physics, Iffat Khalil daughter of Khalil Ahmed Bajwa in education, Hafiz Muhammad Junaid son of Muhammad Asif in Chemistry, Beenish Sadique daughter of Muhammad Sadique in Molecular Biology and Forensic Sciences, and Iftikhar Ahmad son of Zulifqar Ali in Sociology.
