BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) Provincial Minister for Irrigation Muhammad Kazim Ali Pirzada chaired a meeting at his residence to review security arrangements made for the A-Category Majlis in connection with the Youm-e-Ali (RA), here on Wednesday.

Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen and Regional Police Officer (RPO) Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin along with other administrative and police officials, and organizers of the Majlis attended the meeting.

During the session, the provincial minister and the organizers of the Majlis were given a comprehensive briefing on the security plan and arrangements for the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen stated that the district administration and police are fully active and vigilant to maintain law and order. She emphasized that all necessary measures have been put in place to ensure the safety and protection of mourners attending the gathering.

She further explained that staff deployed in control rooms are continuously monitoring key locations and main routes through CCTV cameras to respond promptly to any emergency situation.

RPO Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin informed the participants that special security instructions have been issued to police officers and personnel deputed at the event. Female police constables have also been deployed and given specific briefings to carry out security checks for women attendees. He added that strict search and checking procedures will be implemented for all participants entering the Majlis, while sensitive locations and entry points will remain under strict surveillance.

According to the RPO, police are on high alert to ensure the peaceful conduct of religious gatherings and processions, with all security measures being effectively enforced.
