Price control campaign continued in full force on 14th day of Ramazan

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Mar, 2026) On the instructions of Commissioner Hyderabad Division Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi, the price control campaign continued in full force on the fourteenth day of Ramazan, during which the district administration inspected various markets and shops to ensure the availability of essential food items at official prices.

Warnings were issued, 18 violations were found during 61 inspections in Badin district and a fine of 9,500 rupees was imposed, while warnings were given to many shopkeepers.

During 62 inspections, a fine of 5 thousand rupees was issued on 10 violations and 24 warnings were issued, during 119 inspections, a fine of 4 thousand 600 rupees was issued on 8 violations and 62 warnings were issued on 119 inspections in district Jamshoro, during 66 inspections, a fine of 5 thousand 100 rupees was issued on 10 violations and 16 warnings were issued in Tando Alhiar district.

During 99 inspections, a fine of 17,500 rupees and 26 warnings were issued on 18 violations, while a fine of 3,000 rupees and 11 warnings were issued on 4 violations during 42 inspections in Ten District, Tando Muhammad Khan.

A total of 826 inspections were conducted in the division, 174 violations were detected, a fine of Rs. 1 lakh 72 thousand 100 was imposed and 174 warnings were issued.
