FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar on Tuesday announced that Faisalabad police
had arrested two accused involved in a major burglary and recovered an amount of Rs134 million
from their possession.
Addressing a press conference, he said that the burglary case was registered vide FIR No.310/26 dated March 09, 2026 at Jhang Bazaar police station after receiving a complaint that unidentified burglars stole Rs134 million
from a solar equipment shop at Motor Market on Jhang Road.
The CPO said that he had assigned the task of tracing and arresting the culprits to SP Lyallpur Division Malik Abid Zafar immediately after the incident was reported.
In this connection, a special police team was constituted which arrested the accused, Abdul Rehman of Chak No 66-JB Dhandra and his accomplice Muhammad Talha.
The police subsequently conducted a raid at the residence of Abdul Rehman in Dhandra and successfully recovered amount of Rs 134 million.
