Police pay tribute to martyred constable death anniversary

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) The police officials of Chak Jhumra police station paid tribute to martyred Constable Rizwanullah by offering a ceremonial salute at his grave on the occasion of his ninth death anniversary.

A police spokesman said on Saturday that a contingent of Chak Jhumra police visited grave of the martyr, laid floral wreaths and offered Fateha, praying for elevation of his ranks in the hereafter world.

He said that Constable Rizwanullah had embraced martyrdom nine years ago during an encounter with dacoits in Lahore district while performing his professional duties.

Meanwhile, City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar, in his message on the occasion, said that the sacrifices of police martyrs would always be remembered with honour as they laid down their lives to ensure a safer and peaceful future for the society.
