Police make stringent security arrangements for Eid-ul-Azha: SSP Operations

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Imran Ahmed Malik said that the police made elaborate and foolproof security arrangements across the city on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha to ensure protection of citizens and maintain peace during Eid congregations and celebrations.

He visited various mosques, Imam Bargahs and security checkpoints to inspect security duties being performed by police officers and personnel deployed for Eid-ul-Azha.

During visit, the SSP Operations checked security arrangements, attendance of officials and operational preparedness at sensitive locations and directed police officers and Jawans to remain fully alert while performing their duties.

He instructed security personnel to ensure strict checking of all individuals entering mosques and Imam Bargahs and directed that no person should be allowed entry without proper screening.

He also inspected duties being carried out at entry points established in different parts of the city to monitor movement and strengthen security during Eid holidays.

Police officials informed him that special deployment of Elite Force, Dolphin Force and women police personnel had also been made at important places to enhance security and facilitate citizens.

Police mobile squads and motorcycle patrolling teams remained active across the city and continued special patrolling during Eid-ul-Azha to maintain law & order and prevent any untoward incident.

Speaking on the occasion, the SSP Operations said that extremely strict security arrangements had been made throughout Faisalabad for Eid-ul-Azha celebrations.

He said that protection of life and property of citizens during Eid is top priority of police and all available resources were being utilized to ensure peaceful observance of the religious festival.

He directed police officers to maintain close coordination with field teams and continue effective monitoring of security arrangements at mosques, Eidgahs, markets, parks and other public places.
