Police bust house robbery gang, three arrested

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) Police have arrested a three-member gang involved in house robberies and recovered Rs 278,000 along with Rs 130,000 obtained from the sale of stolen gold jewellery.

The gold and artificial earrings, as well as a rifle used in the crime were also seized.

According to a police spokesperson, the arrests were made during an operation by Mandra police station.

The suspects were allegedly involved in house robberies, where they entered homes and looted citizens at gunpoint.

Police have registered separate cases against all of them and further investigation was in progress.

SP Saddar Anam Sher appreciated police team for their swift action and said the accused will be presented before the court with solid evidence. She added that those depriving citizens of their valuables will not escape the law.
