Police arrests outlaw in injured condition

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) A dacoit was arrested in an injured condition as a result of an encounter that took place between police and armed suspects within the limits of Taluka Nawabshah Police Station.

According to a police spokesperson, SHO of Taluka Nawabshah Police Station, along with his team, was on routine patrol near Dalda Mill on Mehran Highway when they encountered a group of dacoits.

During the exchange of fire, one active criminal was injured and arrested, while his two accomplices managed to escape from the scene.

The injured suspect has been identified as Waseem Ali Khaskheli. A pistol and live rounds were recovered from his possession.

It is noteworthy that the accused, Waseem Ali Khaskheli, is stated to be a key member of a gang involved in a robbery incident that took place on February 19, 2026, within the jurisdiction of A-Section Police Station, where five million rupees were looted from a refrigerator agency.

Senior Superintendent of Police Shaheed Benazirabad, Sameer Noor Channa, has appreciated the performance of police team.
