Police arrest husband hours after wife's killing

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2026) The police arrested a man accused of murdering his wife following a domestic dispute, only hours after the alleged crime, the police said on Tuesday.

According to police, the victim's son filed a complaint at Bilitang Police Station, alleging that his father, identified as Fazal Mubeen, killed his mother after an argument at home.

The District Police Officer (DPO) Kohat directed an immediate investigation, after which a police team led by Bilitang Station House Officer (SHO), Waqar Khan launched a search operation and arrested the suspect within hours, they added.

The police also recovered the alleged murder weapon during the operation.

A criminal case had been registered against the accused, and further investigations were underway, the police said.
