District administration has finalized comprehensive plan to start crackdown against illegal Afghans residing in various areas of Kohat and neighboring districts

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) District administration has finalized comprehensive plan to start crackdown against illegal Afghans residing in various areas of Kohat and neighboring districts.

The crackdown would target various localities of the city including business areas besides fruit and vegetable markets.

Authorities have sought Federal and provincial permission to cancel registrations for businesses, vehicles and residential units owned by illegal immigrants.

A complete ban on the sale and purchase of property by these individuals is being proposed. Meanwhile monitoring has been tightened in sensitive areas to maintain peace and avert any untoward incident.
