Pir Muhammad Shah posted as DIG Traffic Karachi

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2026) The Government has posted Pir Muhammad Shah, a BS-20 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan, as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic Karachi with immediate effect.

According to a notification, Syed Pir Muhammad Shah, who was awaiting posting at the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&CD), has been reposted as DIG Traffic Karachi.

He had previously served in the same position before being transferred a few weeks ago.

Following his reposting, Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh, DIG Police Headquarters CPO, has been relieved of the additional charge of DIG Traffic.
