PHA reviews Eid-ul-Azha preparations

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Managing Director Raja Mansoor Ahmad on Saturday directed the officers concerned to ensure provision of a clean, pleasant and citizen-friendly environment during

Eid-ul-Azha.

He presided over the meeting of directors held PHA headquarters at Jilani Park. The meeting was attended by Additional Managing Directors, Project Directors, and Horticulture Directors, where detailed discussions were held regarding preparations for Eid-ul-Azha and the provision of improved facilities for citizens across the city.

PHA MD emphasized that all available resources should be utilized to improve sanitation, enhance the city’s beauty, and maintain green areas in order to provide residents with a healthy and refreshing atmosphere throughout the festive period.

Key matters reviewed during the meeting included cleanliness arrangements in public parks, the availability of quality products, implementation of price control measures and the maintenance and beautification of green belts along major roads and highways.

Officials also examined strategies to further strengthen horticulture operations and ensure effective execution of ongoing initiatives.
