PHA ensures exemplary arrangements on Eid-ul-Fitr : MD

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) On the special directives of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore made comprehensive arrangements to facilitate citizens during Eid-ul-Fitr, ensuring cleanliness, security, and recreational facilities across major and minor parks in the city.

According to a spokesperson, under the supervision of Managing Director Raja Mansoor Ahmad, PHA Lahore conducted round-the-clock cleanliness operations in morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Special monitoring teams were also deployed to regulate food stalls and ensure controlled pricing. Both male and female staff were present at entry and exit points, as well as within park premises, to manage security and assist visitors throughout the three-day Eid celebrations.

Recreational facilities, including boating, children’s play areas, and picnic spots, were provided at key locations such as Greater Iqbal Park, Jilani Park, Jallo Botanical Garden, and Bagh-e-Jinnah, where a large number of families visited and enjoyed Eid festivities in a safe and pleasant environment.

PHA Lahore Managing Director Raja Mansoor Ahmad said the authority successfully facilitated millions of citizens while also contributing to improving the city’s aesthetics. He added that illuminated “Eid Mubarak” installations were placed at Liberty Chowk, Jail Road, and Mall Road, which received widespread appreciation from the public.

He further stated that PHA Lahore will continue efforts to enhance recreational facilities and beautify the city while ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for citizens on all occasions.
