While Peshawar Zalmi have received another major boost ahead of the PSL 11 Final, as Bangladeshi fast bowler Naheed Rana is set to rejoin the squad after being issued a fresh No Objection Certificate (NOC).
According to reports, the Bangladesh Cricket Board initially allowed Rana to participate in the league until April 13, after which he was recalled due to workload management concerns.
However, the board has now granted him permission to feature in the PSL final scheduled for May 3, allowing him to represent Peshawar Zalmi once again.
Officials stated that the decision was made considering the importance of the franchise final, and both the team management and medical staff have declared the player fully fit.
The board also assured that his participation will not negatively impact his fitness or international commitments.
Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi expressed gratitude to Bangladesh Cricket Board President Tamim Iqbal for facilitating the clearance.
