RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Shazia Rizwan, Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture Punjab, hoisted the national flag at Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi on Pakistan Day and highlighted the historic significance of the day. She recalled the sacrifices of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other leaders and urged citizens to fulfil their responsibilities for Pakistan’s development, stability, and prosperity.
Director Arts Council Shakoor Ahmed welcomed the guests and described the event as a reflection of national unity. The ceremony was also attended by the President and members of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and PP-16 Deputy General Secretary Rizwan, who appreciated efforts to promote patriotism and national cohesion.
Patriotic songs were performed, and national flags were distributed among attendees. The ceremony concluded with prayers for the country’s peace, progress, and prosperity.
