Pakistan’s recent global peace making successes have enhanced its reputation: Sardar Yousuf

MANSEHRA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has said that Pakistan’s recent success on the global front has enhanced its reputation, with the world acknowledging the professional capabilities of its armed forces.

He expressed these views while addressing an inauguration ceremony of a link road in Siran Valley and a newly established NADRA office in Jabori. The event was also attended by Sardar Shahjehan Yousaf, President of PML-N Hazara Division and Parliamentary Leader in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, who also spoke on the occasion.

The federal minister credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir for their leadership and diplomatic efforts, stating that Pakistan has played a constructive role in promoting global stability. He added that the country’s positive international engagement has strengthened its prestige worldwide.

Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said the federal government is committed to improving public living standards by ensuring the provision of basic facilities. He noted that nearly Rs1 billion has been released for various development projects in Mansehra, with tendering already underway.

Speaking at the ceremony, Sardar Shahjehan Yousaf said that the establishment of the NADRA office in Jabori would provide essential services at the doorstep of local residents, while efforts are also ongoing to expand electricity supply to different areas.

He criticized the provincial government, alleging widespread mismanagement, nepotism, and corruption. He further claimed that withholding development funds from opposition members is against court decisions.

He also highlighted shortages of staff in schools and hospitals across Mansehra, stating that these gaps are adversely affecting education and healthcare services. He accused the provincial administration of failing to address public issues effectively.

Other speakers at the event included Member of Provincial Assembly Sonia Shah, PML-N Vice President Syed Riaz Hussain Shah, former District Nazim Sardar Syed Ghulam, Chairman Baffa Pakhal Sardar Shah Khan, Abdul Quddus Khan Bhutto, Qari Mehboob ur Rehman, and other public representatives.
