Pakistan desires peace but will respond decisively to any aggression: Tariq Fazal

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary on Thursday reiterated that Pakistan seeks peace but warned that if aggression is imposed again, the response would be “harder, faster, and far more devastating.”

The minister, in a post on X responding to statements by the Indian leadership, said "Modi first staged the failed Pahalgam false flag drama to manufacture a narrative against Pakistan. However, when Pakistan demanded credible evidence and an impartial international investigation, India backed away and had no answers.”

He said India’s so-called “Operation Sindoor” was countered by Pakistan’s “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos,” adding that Pakistan’s armed forces responded with precision and strength.

The minister further said that Pakistan’s armed forces shot down multiple Indian fighter jets, leaving India embarrassed on multiple fronts.

He said that the world had witnessed how India relied on propaganda and Pakistan demonstrated its strength through action.

“You can flood social media with fake narratives, fabricated stories, and hollow chest-thumping, but facts cannot be buried.

The truth is already known globally, and history will remember who stood firm and who retreated behind media spin,” he added.

He added that Pakistan remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and security against any potential threat.
